3DO Online
Was there ever an attempt to bring online support to the 3DO? I know that the Saturn had a module for online, and that console had a short life too.

Re: 3DO Online
According to the 3DO wiki page online services were planned but canceled. I really can't imagine it as part of their vision though. The Snes and Genesis had limited online offerings but the real online console revolution got a warm up with the Dreamcast and was officially kicked off into the maninstream with Xbox Live on the original Xbox. Despite how grand Trip's original 3DO plans were I'm doubtful that online gaming was part of the blueprints. That said, theres always the chance that there may be some sort of prototype adapter out there.
Current Wants: Bodycon Digital Rave Part 1, 3DO Live demo disc, Mind Teazzer big box.

I dunno about this. The Saturn Netlink was released in 1996, just months after the 3DO was discontinued. So 3DO online seems plausible to me.

I think there was. Online ish perhaps. there was a modem planned from the beginning.
Re: 3DO Online
Online was planned. In fact I think early adverts of Need for Speed advertised online features. I'll see if I can find a scan.

Meet the AT&T model 3DO, it was to come with a built-in phone modem. They were also planning an add-on modem for the other systems.
