3DO Mouse games

Post by 3DO Experience » Sat Sep 14, 2013 11:59 pm

Games that we know use the 3DO mouse.

Crime Patrol
Cyberdillo
Drug Wars
Fun 'n Games
Kingdom: The Far Reaches
Lemmings
Mad Dog
Mad Dog II - The Lost Gold
Myst
Shanghai Triple Threat
Space Pirates
World Cup Golf
[Updated]

Most of the American Laser Games (ALG) Gun Games are also mouse compatible, they should be tested to see what titles are. The manuals for Corpse Killer, Mazer, The Last Bounty Hunter, Sewer Shark & Who Shot Johnny Rock don't mention it so those need to be tested.
Any other games that support the 3DO Mouse?

WOAH! WOAH. Woah. Seriously. CYBERDILLO uses the mouse? Holy sh*t, I am totally going to have to play this game with a mouse. That is, when I reacquire a mouse... I suspect Trev will too. I think that's a given.

I've been trying to remember how the game plays with a mouse ... it's been a while though, so I may need to pop it in again and refresh my memory.

That's odd. When I read this thread yesterday, the code was enabled. And now it's not.

I've been fixing your quotes. Go to User Control Panel > Board preferences > Edit posting defaults > Enable BBCode by default, set to YES.

Mine has always been set to YES ... and still is, as I just checked it. So to put it to the test ...

Something else is up. This may also explain the emoticons, which I just noticed are missing.

Whatever is going on seems to be sporadic, hitting only certain threads. I've discovered this not just by reading my posts & replies, but I've seen it with todays other users comments also. In some replies the quote key doesn't work, in other cases it does ...

The original poster disabled BBcode in the thread most likely.

Nope, that would have had to have been me. I'll take a look, I know there was a PM problem yesterday as well. I don't think it's certain threads, as it was certain people, I had been fixing his quotes all over the place.

OK, I went in and changed your settings to NO and then YES again. Let's hope that works. I really don't know why this is happening but you aren't the only one so I hope this proves to fix it.

Hmmm ... I dunno. I've been able to quote elsewhere, so this is peculiar

Any one try the mouse on Corpse Killer, Mazer, The Last Bounty Hunter, Sewer Shark & Who Shot Johnny Rock?

Necrobump! Picked up a mouse again and am curious what all else out there works with it. Not that this will get a reply, but hey, a man can hope, right?

I found another list that, in addition to the list in the OP, mentions:

The Last Bounty Hunter (1995)
Policenauts (1995)
Zhadnost: The People's Party (1995)

No idea whether it's correct, since I don't have a 3DO mouse!

I'd wager Policenauts is most certainly correct (a version of it comes bundled with a mouse).

The Last Bounty Hunter makes a lot of sense too, since it seems like every light gun game from American Laser Games had mouse support.

so has anyone tried Mazer with a mouse? I like the game but a better control scheme would really improve the experience.
