Where does the Jag rank among Atari's poor marketing legacy?

We all know Atari has a history of dropping the ball on good hardware when it comes to some of the choices they've made. Some that quickly come to mind are packing an againg, barely enhanced Breakout w/the 5200 (and having no 2600 compatibility initially) Or how about letting the 7800 sit in warehouses for years before releasing it? Anyway, I was wondering where Atari's handling of the Jag (and also Jag cd) would rank among their history?

No coments huh ... too depressing a topic? :P

I wonder how the Jag might have fared, say if Nolan Bushnell was leading the way? Or what if Atari hadn't put so much effort on computers in the mid to late 80's & focused more on consoles?

I'd say it's somewhere in the middle.
