Should I permit a thread to discuss Atari Jaguar vs 3DO?

Yes , already that locked thread has been mentioned at atariage - I think we are all old enough to deal with it!

Be interested to hear the comparisons between the two systems and what the 3DO people have to say.

I just felt harmony was better between the two communities as opposed angst. That was all. I can start a fight if you want sweetie.

Go w/your first instinct, harmony. Lets leave the debate to specific games. Both consoles pros & cons are well known ... would we add anythlng new or constructive? No longer rivals, lets focus on the good.

I was always a huge Jaguar fan and always sided with the Jag in the Jag vs. 3DO debates of yesteryear. However, that was all about 15 years ago. Both systems only live in through the hardcore fans now, so there's no point in bickering between each other. I'm more than willing to throw some support behind the 3DO, as it was a good system in its own right.

Now, having said that....the Jag community is one of the nastiest of any classic system. I'm not sure you're all quite aware of what you guys are getting yourselves into by inviting Jag fans over here.

Since it's been mentioned about the nastiness of some in the Jag community, I've always wondered what the beef is between AA & JSII? The 3DO community is small enough to avoid such conflicts.
