Oh I'd love to play with that. Good old Mac Quadra. I couldn't program anything with it but let alone to have the prototype console would be so cool. It was such a big myth and hype I didn't know they actually had developer systems already out.

He's trying to sell this for maybe 3 years or so, but he won't ever sell it for that price. It's untested, doesn't come with docs nor the sdk disc, etc. Maybe for $1000, but not for $3333.

Isn't it worth $3000 though? Well, if it had everything it would be. What are the SDK disks?

I say it's probably woth that much because it's like a once in a lifetime thing. There are probably only a handful of those in existence. Some guy sold an NES game that only had like 60 copies for like $30,000 and someone bought it.

edit
How can you trust a man who doesn't even use proper spelling or grammar, just look at his "more info" page.

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. And there are more than one kind of M2.

Not once in a lifetime thing. In fact this kind is quite commonly on ebay

No, the seller Barry Ling is a professional, absolutely. You can trust him.
Some say the prices are too high. Ok, then show me some other
Pippin @ World, or PSX / SAT / M2 devs.

Oh, he's from Hong Kong, hence his bad spelling and grammar. He probably doesn't know much about the USD to Hong Kong Dollar stuff.

It's "heart warming" to see finally other people able to play a real M2 game.
That's the best.

Going over the original listing and all those wonderful pictures, I was intrigued to see an instruction booklet (I think) with "disposable wrist strap" written on it. And this was HOW many years before Wii? ;)

A lot of people do, judging by the prices they command. Especially now that there are a couple of games that can be played on them.
Although, the unit above does not have a hard drive.

I am not sure who I am supposed to be.

I just don't see the attraction to the kiosk unit. M2 yes, but the arcade boards and kiosk units...no.

The kiosks and Konami arcade units are the most accessible pieces of M2 hardware produced.
The fact that they have the actual M2 chipset and that the kiosks will run the few unreleased/beta M2 games that have surfaced makes them even more appealing.
