My Goldstar takes in the CD-R and thinks about reading it, checking it over and over for about a good 25 seconds. Sometimes it spits it or just sits at the launch screen. It could be something as simple as a bad door switch. I've never been inside an FZ-10... or any 3do! They work so well, mostly! To check for a door switch you'll need to jump it closed some how. Maybe someone else can chime in for the method most effective for the FZ-10

I love Doom. It was one of my favorite games back in the day, especially, Doom 2. But... the 3do version is flat out terrible, it saddened me as a 3do owner back in the day.

They were DEAD TO ME when the 3do died! I wished them pain with every Army Men game. Eventually they did succumb.

Panasonic Tau 27" flat screen CRT via S-Video. It is the only way to play 3do. Although... I may have to give in a go on the LCD...!

Try running s-video to an upscaling dvd player and set the resolution to 1080i. Very nice!

If there was one thing the CD-i could do was output really great video. Very little pixelation on red.

The CD-i port is on the CD-i so it is inherently worse.

The Neo-Geo CD may look ok in photos but one has to see it in person to get a feel for how crappy it really is. It is downright shoddy. Just a big chunk of cheap feeling plastic.
