Help me better understand Opera file structure

Ok...so if anyone has read the Killing Time beta comparison thread I made, you will read that the alpha 2.2 version Bitrate was so kind to upload and 3do experience signed is not loading in either freedo or on retail hardware. It gets so far as to the intro movie and freezes (in freedo) and never ma...

Sidenote : tested it on my fz-1. Banner loads very quickly (4 secs or so) and the console tries to read the disc 2 times. Green light comes on, off, on again, then permanently off. I can head the disc still spinning, but the 3do isn't trying to read the disc at all Burning copy # 2 now to make sure ...

hmm...not that I can play it yet, but the iso for alpha 2.2 is only .9 mb smaller than the 2.7 beta 3do experience posted...so I wonder if that is going to lead to a very similar experience

hoping to find major differences in the alpha...keeping my fingers crossed!

Anyone want to buy this...?

http://www.coinopexpress.com/products/m ... 9_609.html

For the cheap price of $2600 (shipping not included of course) you too can own a Total Vice arcade cabinet (m2 based of course)

If I had the cash, and my gf wouldn't kill me for buying it, id take it

I gave it a might be. I do alot of stuff other than playing games, but I do own 12 consoles that are always connected in the living room, and I did just spend the better part of an afternoon writing up a comparison between killing time and a beta version...so I am sitting on the fence

You can't even beat the shit...at least I can't. Bugs always screw my progress up, basically making the game unwinnable.

I've never owned a video game that had more problems than Far Cry 2...it just plain sucks

Iron Soldier is fun for sure, but I do think the lack of any texture mapping hurt it as far as selling the jaguar as "next gen"

When you have games like AvP with full texture mapping running at a decent frame rate, Iron Soldier seems that much less impressive

Weird...there was a comment before mine about the "burning ending" being the bad one...and it dissapeared. Oh well

it went something like "in another thread we decided that the burning ending was the bad ending, and the good ending was where tess saved you"...just so my comment makes more sense

hmmm...you have a point. I always assumed the longer ending was the good ending, since it just "gave you more". Wow...so I still wonder what makes each ending come up? I would think getting all keys / winged vessels would give you the good ending. Yet I pretty much always get the burning ending. And...

The "good" ending for the 3DO version is the top link you put up. Basically, the bad ending cuts out the run to the open door when it slams shut and you burn to death. So when you get the good ending, you burn to death..haha The bad ending cuts to the credits after tess kills duncan. The PC version ...

Thats not entirely true. The pc version re-used alot of the textures from the 3am version, as well as a few sprites. Some of the level layouts are also similar. It would be a fun comparison since I can't think of many games that changed platforms and got such a huge redesign. So for that instance al...

Also, the beta automatically deletes your save data from the retail version as soon as the disc boots. When you go to the loading screen, you can't load a retail save. It works in reverse as well. Once you boot the beta, your retail save is gone. Once you boot the retail disc, your beta save is gone...

Killing Time - Differences between Retail and 2.7 Beta

The whole story began here , continued here , and this thread was followed by another here . -3DOExp OK! I have played through the entire beta, and here are my observations of what I found. Its part 1 of 3 since I figured Part 2 would be the Alpha Bitrate promised to upload. Maybe there will be a p...
