Very true Windows Killer. But we're not testing for encryption, we're first using it to test to see if the image we rebuild works. If so, then on to the encryption we go. Since I only have the original betas of the games OG turned bootable, I'm not quite sure how they beat the boot problem. I'm stil...

Greetings, Sorry for the breaks in my replies, but time is a commodity anymore that I just am in short supply of. Here's the answers I have from here at work : "Which version of Windows are you using?" XP Pro "How big is the created ISO?" Slightly larger than the collected amount of the files. My ri...

Well, here's the instruction manual to the game, its only the sega CD, but it's pretty much the same. A to switch camera, B to activate trap, C for code, etc. http://www.replacementdocs.com/download.php?view.5050 Here's the walkthrough if you get stuck : http://www.gamewinners.com/3DO/NightTrap.htm ...

Well, to 'rebuild' an image from stuff you may have extracted from a 3DO CD is very simple. There are only two buttons on the front of OperaFS[de]Complier. Click the one on the right, it probably says "??????ISO" if you don't have Russian Language Support. Choose the folder you want to turn into an ...

Certain 3DO games gave headaches to the NVRAM of the FZ-1. Panzer General, The Horde and a few others would corrupt their save files, or just the whole NVRAM. Crystal Dynamics released a new copy of The Horde as well as a corrected save file built by their demo disc, but most of the others just offe...

Oh, and ORBATAK needs to have it's user input redone. Its searching for the JAMMA interface (coin input, 1up, 2up, as well as the controllers). The game itself runs well, but only on an arcade enabled 3do and arcade hardware (or Supernova hardware) or version 1.7? of Freedo. Freedo doesn't support t...

I'm thinking the encryption is done matting one CD image over another. A friend and I monkeyed with that idea using the 3DO Memory Manager from the memory unit to some (limited) success (title screen pops up) but ran out of time and desire to do it. Since the image file for the Guru is equally small...

Actually, mine did freeze on the Javelin, especially on the TRAINING mode, or if I hit the button to bypass the results page. The running events are the easiest to do, just timing the hurdles is such a quick point that I often miss, and I really do have to practice again each time before I play agai...

Pole Vault is glitchy, but this works usually. Run by alternately tapping A & C, slowly at first, then pick up speed. As your player runs, he'll automatically start to lower his pole (from certain angles, you'll see a stripe on the ground to the left of the track at this point as well), right as he ...

Ok, seems the "the simple life" wins out. Heh. ok. Technically there are 3 different ways to do this, but here's the easiest. This is the menu glitch trick : 1.> From the main menu, choose : "D" Coming Soon! 2.> At the new menu, move your cursor to III and wait for about 2 minutes for the demo video...

...I have also been planning game guru codes for Decathlon... I was thinking of doing that too but the only thing besides changing scores I could think of doing was editing names but I figured out how to do that without the guru. Hmm. FMV games about it's true. Dragon's Lair will always be near and dear to my heart. But here's some classics that are all FMV, or just have some great FMV in them : Ground Zero Texas (Sega CD) - A game that deserves a sequel! FMV or just FPS, it'd be cool! Shockwave II (3DO) - B-Movie and loving...

gir draxa any hints to these events? Hmm, which events trouble you most? Some are so simple. Discus & Shotput require your character to have good strength before ANYTHING really goes well. Plus, it helps to play with a joystick if you have one. The standard D-Pad sucks. Javelin is best done by rapi...

You can get the FZ-AK1 on Yahoo's Japan auctions off and on, , but I've only seen it on there once with it's original packaging in the past 4 or so years.

Doom was one of those "gotta have it" things for most gamers, and I believe it ended up like SHADOW, a final pressing made from a mid-level (at best) beta. Now don't get me wrong, I like betas... A LOT. But if you have deved it and you know it isn't done and you still release it, to me it's just not...

Plus there is on...
