bitrate will buy them and you will never see the collection again I was aware of this collection days before it showed up on this forum (Digitpress). If I was interested in buying the collection I would have already committed to doing so. If you want to know if all of the Japanese exclusives are th...

Gotcha. I wonder if more expensive 3DO games like this were just produced in limited quantities? That, for example, is the issue with the high prices on a lot of Japanese Megadrive games. Gir Draxa said at one point that Lucienne's Quest was recalled from stores by Panasonic as 3DO was on its death...

I honestly hope the winners actually receive their prizes. Over a year ago (around the 28th November 2010) someone of high esteem in this forum held a competition which I won. I never received the prize. Maybe it got lost in the mail... :? Please tell me you are not talking about the Policenauts ga...

heh i used to have 2 of those Rock joysticks, i didnt like them to much so i sold both Why didn't you care for them? Did they not control well? In my experience with the Rock 3, the main issue is that the unit is not heavy enough. The buttons and joystick control well, but the unit does not possess...

A complete in box copy is probably going to cost you more on the 3DO than it will on the Jaguar, which may or may not be a concern. I see Robinson's Requiem on Ebay for the Jaguar for $59.95. In addition to costing more on the 3DO, it is also going to be more difficult to find a complete 3DO version.

Is this it Austin? http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u49/bitrate_photos/GoldstarBox.jpg It's funny. I don't think that I have ever seen a boxed Goldstar set that included the Photo CD. People who bought the Goldstar 3DO must have thrown out the disk right away. I've seen plenty of Panasonics with t...

I received my system in the mail today, and guess what? It advertises Putt Putt, Shock Wave, and the Photo CD as pack-ins! Unfortunately, since there was no documentation with it, I can't tell if, say, the photo CD disc was some kind of promotional mail-in. I can get a picture of it and post it her...

Actually, my wife has an aunt who lives in Torrance. May be time for a reunion ... although I can't imagine I'd have any 3DO gifts that you don't already have at least 5 copies of. Small world. My wife grew up in Torrance, and we live just a town over. Also, I'm working on getting 10 copies ...

Nice find Trev. 8) That must be what I am remembering. I don't think I have ever seen a 3DO Goldstar box with Putt-Putt being advertised as a pack-in. I wonder if they decided against that idea and went with Fifa. Or, perhaps Putt-Putt was handed to every customer who purchased a new Goldstar unit a...

Awesome!! Thanks, Bitrate, that clears things up a bit. So the black sleeve I had way-back-when did indeed come with that Goldstar unit. Those Not For Resale stickers on the games--are those on the cases themselves as far as you can tell, or on top of the shrink wrap? I know I am getting overly pic...

I'm almost certain the Goldstar unit had a photo cd included in its initial bundle. Hmmm... I'm not sure I've ever seen a Goldstar unit with the photo CD, but I could very well be wrong. There were quite a few different model Goldstar units and it is possible one of them came with the photo CD I su...

I've always wondered if these are lying around in Korean retro game stores? To us they are buried treasure, to them... it's probably trash that no one wants. I used to think that this might be the case as well. A short while back I ran into a couple of guys on another forum who live in Korea. I ask...

Yes, most of them come in the snapper box style. The Eye of Typhoon and Armageddon are the two instances, that I know of, where the games are not packaged in the snapper box. Also, The Eye of Typhoon has a slightly thinner box similar to Slope Style and Mathemagics, although not quite as thin as tho...

Do you use any protection cases or boxes for longboxes and jewel 3DO games? Did you try to use VGA cases? No, I don't use anything like the VGA cases.
