Re: Memory Unit - Worth it? (nevermind, it's mine now xP)
Worthwhile thing to have. Prices seem pretty stable. Got mine unboxed and somehow using it resolved an issue I had whereby the internal memory would not save gex. Now it does and having things backed up is always good. One question, the connector on mine that goes I to the 3do, the metal part is how...

Re: Review - Return Fire
I just got it and I love it. Agree the lack of being able to tell which maps have been completed easily is a little annoying but overall it's superb. Anyone know if the pal maps o death second release works on NTSC consoles? On back of pal case it says note this game plays in letterbox format on pal...

Re: Saturn QUAKE
Been after it for a while. I believe pal copy will run fine on NTSC machine unlike duke nukem which runs but is unplayable really/clips and misses out the ammo info etc. Anyone confirm this? Bought exhumed pal and it runs fine but the cutscenes are out of sync can live with that.

Re: Bad Ebay seller alert
Completely crap, non cooperational negative response. "I have photos of the disc". I'm sure she does. I too was burned with a pal need for speed. Condition of box and manual were superb and when I contacted the seller he was courteous and offered a refund but as condition of manual and case were exc...

Re: Sega Saturn freak out.
 I want a model one pal machine. The weird controller and slight case differences appeal. Do like the white japanese model 2. And the grey original with the purple buttons and LEDs....genuinely just was given two of the ones I have for nothing by people who were going to bin them. Had to do sli...

Have recently got a japanese model 1 to go with the japanese megadrive and because I think the original looks 8) however I bought it knowing it had a fault. It powers up however I believe pressing reset on megadrive should eject the tray however it does not only way it does that is If I press start ...

Re: New to Atari Jaguar
Wolfenstein is also superb on the jaguar. Rayman is worth getting too if can find it for reasonable price. Wolfy is not too hard to find and to me, is a classic. Love the colours and large sprites and music on the jag. After a japanese version for the 3do never seen one but one day I'll get it hopef...

Re: Recommend an Xbox game.
Shenmue 2. Ok it's a dreamcast port but I believe the dreamcast pal one was voiced in japanese with English subtitles? Whereas the xbox is a proper conversion with full English dialogue. Also can be played on 360. I do have fonder memories of Shenmue one on the DC however this is an excellent game a...

Re: Supply and demand is "Out of this World!"
I had to wait a while for my replies to emails regarding when it would be shipped etc but they did send out notifications that it had been delayed due to issues initially with the cartridge assembler I believe. I would have liked to be able to get the heretic cart that's mentioned in another thread ...

Re: Supply and demand is "Out of this World!"
I have a copy. Very well done box manual and cart which I liked not yet owning a cd. Something about a cart and seeing a cool label like doom appeals to me. Was beginning to wonder if I had been conned at times but deep down knew it would eventually be done. I would definitely buy from them again an...

Re: Seriously, why no new port of DOOM?
It is worth getting if you like doom but it is a very poor version of the game. Playable but only just and ideally with the screen size fairly low. Music does just about save it from being pointless but it's poor when compared with the superb jaguar game.

Re: Stepdown transformers
If you use memory manager disc it will be in japanese or check if it has an rf out on the back if it does it's not japanese as they didn't use that connection by then. I think. Can't actually move mine where it is easily to check but I am fairly sure only USA and pal machines have rf on back.

Re: Stepdown transformers
It will not play a pal copy of alone in the dark or wolfenstein and I believe it does not have an rf out on the back while the USA and pal ones do. Don't take that as gospel but I believe that is one obvious physical difference as there aren't any others I can think of. Other than if you have the bo...

Re: So I just got a 3DO Mouse...
From the very brief time I played it I would agree and say Myst caused a stir mainly because of the graphics and free roaming remember seeing it on bad influence and it did look good. Got it for the saturn years ago and also didn't play it for long. The mouse is a curiosity. I got one because the id...

Hi folks Recently my stepdown blew my trusty 100watt jap to uk which I had used for almost two decades to regularly power japanese super famicom, my 3do and USA snes and other machines....gave up. Re: Japanese FZ-10 game save troubles
I have a Japanese fz1 and my memory was full. I didn't know this at time as had no way of accessing the memory and it wouldn't save doom so I knew it was full or gone...I got a Japanese copy of gex and on first insertion of the game I was given a message presumably saying the memory was full and all...

The first two hundred are all sold you can register your interest for a second run which will happen if is sufficent demand they were saying.
