Good Q. I don't do much with it myself, but the service is free.

Here's a bit of fun for you. For those who really have time on their hands and want to mess with a game. Grab ULTRA-EDIT 32 and load in a CD image of SHADOW. The button moves are actually written out in basic and really easy to change once you locate the files. If one were building your own custom i...

I've no place to put the pics at the moment, but (as I posted in the m2 section too), here's the racing game demo!

Hmm..
Well, here's my webpage which reviews not only 2 Panasonic models, but the Robo, the TRY and the Goldstar version of the FZ-1.
3DO Collective
The AT&T one looked nice too (deep blue weirdness!), but I've only just seen the mockup one in NEXT GENERATION.

Most complete games are beatable with time. The problem is, there are alot not worth the time (Shadow: war of succession comes to mind). Way of the Warrior became ALOT easier using another controller than the standard, but still is a pain to play to see the best ending, even on easy, it kicks most p...

I'd probably be a confessed rabid video game collector, though the CD-i and 3DO have always had the fondest of places in my heart. As to 3DO, there isn't much I don't have that I still want. (ack, never buy in lots on e-bay 600 million copies of Total Eclipse & It's birds Life!... RUN!) The few that...

Greetings, Well, 8 is the full D2 demo with Kenji Eno, and screenshots. 9 has some killer M2 demo screenshots. 7 has the "racing game" demo from E3, plus 2 of the E3 game screenshots. (I have about more 10 of them from a presskit scan someone gave me years back, if you folks are intrested.) If you f...

Tototek is very reliable. However, his design has a fault. I mentioned it on freedo.org a while back. It doesn't really support analog, it just copies the D-pad to the analog sticks. Aparently he was unaware of the analog option of the 3DO (at least according to his post on his webboard.) Sad really...

Some 3DO PAL games gave confusing signals to most of the GOLDSTAR systems, and to launch day FZ-1's. Sometimes they boot, sometimes they don't. I have a PAL version of POWER'S KINGDOM that is very hit & miss on my original US FZ-1. The only true "intentionally locked out" titles are from Japan thoug...

Well, I can say that I have the Japanese Import of Crash N' Burn and it works on my US PZ-1. I bought it because I can never seem to find a US one! Wish I could though as the Japanese dialogue in the game kind of ruins the cheese factor for me as I loved the cheesy FMV in this game! Too true....

Gir Draxa .... is that short for Gir Draxon? Why is your log in name linked with such an awful game? (Draxon's Revenge) . :D Actually, for it's day, I enjoed Stellar 7 for the Apple II. I was shocked when it became a Sega CD game as STELLAR FIRE (way better intro than 3DO  ). The game had it...

Greetings, Well it is nice to meet a fan. :-) Time permitting, I hope to eventually restore the collectives to their former status, but right now, the only space I was offered, I can't access, and the current one is frozen in time. :( There is alot of power in the game guru for those willing to take...

Oh, one more Q, Does anyone else think it would have been a much better future for the two companies if Sega & Matsushita had gone ahead and combined forces? Sure it would have delayed or cancelled the Saturn, but I think if one of them would have backed down from the 'only my hardware should be use...

I see no mention of the ultra expensive LASERACTIVE. Costing as much as $750 to $900 depending on where you went, then add in the expansion modules to play Sega Genesis or Turbo Grafix games, and more like karaoke at a cost of around $300 each.... makes 3DO look MUCH more appealing. CD-i is still in...
