Yep, thats the one he had. Same controller as the FZ-JP1 but had Sanyo written on it.

I never played any of the others, problem with all those is i played them all extensively on NEO•GEO first... It made the rest seem very ordinary!!

Having said all that, the Playstation was certainly a better tool for the job for the ALG live action shooters, with its very high quality video, i reckon those games couldve really worked out well on that console.

No and i wouldnt have expected anyone would, it really wouldnt be worth the effort at this stage of their lives!! I can see it was said, but what i cant understand is why it was, and then not much later there are near flawless SNK ports on the Saturn, it just seems really unusual that SNK would allo...

Im pretty sure you can turn it off in the menu, i usually just hold A when the screen comes up.

Yeah, its great for a while, but you get too used to the same things over and over

The 3DO version is better in almost every way, there are still reasons to play the Saturn version though, just not at 50Hz, because its not speed optimised.

Take it to pro, you wont ever look back.

And not being rude in return, but you completely and totally misunderstood what was being said... To make it clear, if they were told not to have a perfect version of Samurai Shodown on the 3DO due to it hurting NEO•GEO sales, WHY did they then make almost perfect ports on the Saturn? Somehow i wond...

3DO version arcade perfect??? Not in your wildest dreams... Its not a mark on the NEO•GEO cart or CD version...

If this was true, why are the Saturn versions of SNK games so darn close to perfect?

Drug Wars and Mad Dog 2 are probably my all time favourites, i used to play Mad Dog 2 in the arcade on 3DO hardware!!

Last Bounty Hunter is also an awesome shooter.

Its rather hard to see the traffic at times, especially on certain parts of the track...

Yeah i know that, ive had that one for years, but first time i put it in i get a laughing skull, so i swap discs, loaded up and did a round, then swapped discs to expansion, two 3DO screens and then nothing.

This is by far the best version, the Sega Saturn version is the next best of the console versions.

Its not hard, youll get there
