I have heard (and seen) conflicting information regarding the Virtual Console on the Wii. My suspicion is that the VC titles are emulations from the original release ROMs, as I noticed that all the bugs and glitches that were specific to Super Mario Bros on the NES in 1985 are present in the VC edi...

I just read about it at http://www.Oldergames.com. It is on the main page. I think all of the forum members should support this. Even if this particualr title isn't that exciting (I wasn't a huge fan of the original Icebreaker myself) it can open the door for other new or unfinished 3DO projects, m...

Me. I'm interested. Are they American Mags? I love American game magazines. We get a couple here in the UK but not many. I always think that American Journo's write more to the reader, where Euro mags speak to a crowd - if that makes sense!

By the way ... Most of the games I get cost me a few pounds - practically nothing. Who is your source? I never get import games for cheap :x (unless they are the Japanese equivalent of US titles) Do you have any duplicate games for sale? :D Through some clever talking and slight of hand - my wife i...

... Of all the systems I've owned, I'm most fond of the 3DO, which is the one platform I've maintained a large gaming library for. I'm not particularly sure why, but the thought of the 3DO just makes me all warm and fuzzy. The moment I popped in Road Rash the day I brought the console home, and hea...

Hi, Just found this forum through 3DOKid's posts on AtariAge. It would be great to have a few more consoles at the Jagfest this year. I've just got started on the 3DO. I was a fan of the game Starblade in the arcades and was keen to find a console version. Found a cheap FZ-1 in Brick Lane Sunday ma...

Ah yes, I read your thoughts of the game on your blog. Honestly, I have not spent enough time with it to form an accurate opinion, but I think it has potential. I really think you should play the game more than once  before writing it off. Possibly. I think I gave the game a fair crack of the...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6O6jKswvQ4 I've not seen this one before. It's the D2 demo for the 3DO M2. I have 2 D2 demos and this isn't either of them. Does anyone know if the music is original? That's the bonus video which is included in the japanese Dreamcast version of D2. It's the first hal...

I'm kind of interested in this. I remember reading that it would only work on his 3DO dev system and he would be happy to let others play, as long as they are happy popping round to his house.

I guess things have moved on - which is great news.

Do you have a link?

Thanks!

Cool, thanks for the info. I continue to look on Ebay for these issues, as well as the 3DO Gold magazine. Can I ask how much you payed for issue 15? Last one I saw fetched pver $40 US! Also, does it have a guide for Robinson's Requeim? I have the game, but the controls are indeed somewhat awkward. ...

I have the D2 demo that came with:

Puropon World. (the guys with the pants!)
3DO Live! Disc 9
3DO Live! Disc 10

and that's it.

Disc 10 is by far the most revealing of the ones I have!

We could do.

I've always found it hard getting Game Guru to do anything. Even with the advanced cheat. I tried to get Alone in the Dark 2 to give me more life to no avail.

Actually, as far as I know the 3DO had the best FMV of any version. I think the pc was only half the screen size (think early sega cd, but w/higher resolution) I was under the impression. more 3DO Kid Speculation (tm) that the CDi could really shine in this area because of the Mpeg decoder card thi...

I don't have much hardware. I have a few consoles and VCD player but that is about it. I'd be interested in some points of view on things like the light gun and the mouse etc!

Creature Shock is another one. Microcosm partly, if only Philips didn't cancel the CD-i game! I've never played 3DO, so for me it's hard to compare. I've heard of issues with Goldstar machines. Some swear that these machines are the most compatible but like you said, I've heard contradictory points of view. The best machine seems to be the Japanese FZ1 or the Japanese FZ-10. It seems to play everything. The chap over at the 3DO Collective refers...
