I got the email yesterday morning for a payment amount. Cart #160.
Paypal'ed what appeared to be the amount but haven't heard back on receipt of it or a proposed shipping date.
Will post when there's more

Re: Towers II
I put this together over a couple of months since there apparently wasn't a resource available anymore and while it has elements of a "what I experienced while playing through the game" description, it solves the puzzle(s)-if anyone's stuck. While some elements will vary, like exact enemy placement...

Re: ForceDesign back online
Posted this in the Robinson's Requiem thread. No idea how it ended up here :pSaturn wrote:I was thinking about taking on this game as my next project but time is in little abundance these days.
I did find and save two guides for it on other systems so hopefully the general layout is the same.

Re: Supply and demand is "Out of this World!"
I emailed them a couple months ago and asked if I would actually be receiving the game or was I just on the list as a backup or something (since there was an auction for a copy I was interested in.) A reply was sent some 10 days later with an actual number. So, waiting for mine to come up but don't ...

That's way better than I've done with it lol.
I found the controls were very sharp and couldn't control the paddle very well.
I'll dig it out and give it another spin to see if I can get anywhere close to your worst, let alone 50k.

Re: Towers II
I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that I found it! The bad news is that the file for it is long gone and it's in hard copy format from me printing it off when I was playing through Towers II, so, I will scan the guide and then put it up as a download here, if you wish. It's coo...

Some great info in here. Just watched every video and was blown away by those graphics
Hope this becomes a release someday. In whatever form the last build is in. Demo or finished product. Some outstanding work

Awesome, glad you're playing again. Saw that this thread was about to fall off the page. I wanted to start playing and put some serious time into it but sounds a lot more difficult than time I can apply. Was reading a walkthrough for the 3DO version (iirc) to get an idea of what to expect. Hopefully...

Painter CD - Encrypted
I was posting about Painter CD the other day and the thread evolved into a solution for making an encrypted version, thanks to Gordon's source code, Belboz's tools, Reboot's ULS Boot and JiFFI. (This may have been done before but was unknown to me) The resulting .cof converted to ROM file, with JiFF...

That's really amazing. Something that valuable (to some lol) being discarded like that.
Wish I could happen across that setup in a dumpster. I'd be busting at the seems. Great score

Re: Towers II Walkthrough
I played through using my guide and beat it from start to finish in a matter of hours today. Most of that time spent swinging the heavier swords and missing. Seems like the accuracy of your strikes was based on rolling dice or something. Cool game

Re: Towers II
Looks like you're doing good. And why take the mystery away with a guide? I wish people would do more 'hint-thrughs' than walk throughs. Ha, I hear ya. But thinking up clever ways to hint someone along seems like a lot more work than just documenting the experience while playing. That way, anyone c...

Some quick notes I made while playing this tonight. I'll edit/update as time allows but I figured out and documented the poem to escape the Chain Room. I know JagChris has been stuck in there since 1997. When I found the post I LOLed :D I can be more specific than that. I got stuck in that room som...

Re: Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
This game is pretty hard (for me) and I've never beaten it on any system. Have given it tons of time on the Jag in past years but always end up re-shelving it. Recently though, I hacked the Sega CD version with Infinite Health, Infinite Fire Bombs, Invulnerability, Infinite Stones and Infinite Boome...

Haven't played it yet. Was barely able to keep up with all the releases and betas of each. Was grabbing them all in case any were removed. Which seemed to have happened. Looks like a great conversion tho.

Finally, can use all 17 buttons on a pc He's been at this for some time and I'm glad since I don't solder and can't really use the kit he offered before. These will come in very handy, especially as advances are made w/ vj.

Doesn't look like any of them sold this time.
That's strange since the first 6 were barley online before they were all bought up.
