Outside of the core, most of the emulator would need to be ported to use SDL or something for linux. Most of 4DO's functions are very windows specific. I don't know of anyone that has claimed to take on such a task as of yet. 4DO's source is completely open so all the fixes to the core and how to in...

Just because it can read a music CDR or original disc and does not mean the laser is fine. Reading an audio CD is a 1x analog read. Thats MUCH MUCH easier than a 2x digital data read from any CDR for a laser unit that isn't that great even when brand new. It is also much easier to read an original d...

I would blame the laser before blaming CDRs. My 3DO pretty much refuses to read CDRs anymore, but will read normal discs fine. Even brands of discs it used to read fine, now give me troubles. Over time, most of the lasers in the 3DO systems are going to give out. CDR use will make the laser struggle...

Yeah weird, my disc has the same 0+1 checksum. Oh well! At least it should now work for everyone. Also, it looks like the Escape From Monster Manor text will be back to normal in the next release.

I just tested CPU Bach (U) and it is working for me so it might be your rip as you have stated. It does take a few seconds for it to load. It was about 15 to 20 seconds at most.

I notice that the 4DO compatibility wiki does not have an entry for Escape from Monster Manor. I will try to add this tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up! Graphics oddities have been getting looked at recently and being fixed with nice results (examples: Samurai Shodown and Wing Commander III).
