forgive me for the folly of ignorance in this particular area, but are people playing these games/demos (such as the unfinished games) by downloading the isos and burning their own discs, or from buying them from a small manufacturer? Im not asking for deh romzez or anything, if i can find a product...

I really want this game (Killing Time as well) but I'm afraid to buy them on the big E because i dont know how to guarantee their the working versions.

My main problem with the 3DO packaging is the amount of inconsistentcy that came with buying the games. If you buy some NES games, you can buy cartridge only and (for the most part) the games are uniform in size and design (except Tengen and all the bible games and so on). With D being originally programmed for the 3DO, is the common consensus that it is the superior version between it and the Saturn version? Does anyone have a unique opinion on the matter?
