Wow, that was fast shipping. They weren't joking when they said 3-5 days.

I'm just glad everything arrived safely. Now we need to get that beast up and running.

Sounds like you reversed logic there.

There was a local 1/4 mile strip that was free to enter during day hours and pay-to-enter at night.

To be perfectly honest, M2 wasnt cancelled, it did survive but in other forms. It was only that the console version was unreleased. Yes, we know. The M2 video game console is what we are talking about. The anouncement of Star Control 2, updated with voiceovers for the 3DO and the Star Trek game tha...

I know for sure that the Value of complete 3DO collection thread was 2 pages long and is now 1.

Also, I believe the M2 thread "The wasted summer of 96" was 7 pages long and is now 5.

If anyone wants to hate anyone, hate me. I traded a Canadian boxed Super Street Fighter for a boxed Dinopark Tycoon about 13 years ago. Dinopark is going for what on evilbay now? $120,000? $254,000? I should haul it over to the Antiques Roadshow... Appraiser drops the Ming vase, "Oh my god! It's a ...

Disappearing thread pages?

I've noticed lately that a number of threads seem to have lost some posts/pages.
Intentional, or is something weird going on?

Re: Wolfenstein 3D

My one complaint? The lack of an automap. Sure, it's not like in Doom, where backtracking can cost you health and eventually kill you, but the levels are big enough to get lost in, and searching for secret rooms isn't as fun when you don't have a map to narrow down good places to look. There is an ...

So this was either just the earliest more expensive version of the packaging that didn't last or a 3DO Direct specific type. I've never seen it before though. I think you've nailed it there. Like you, I can't see 3DO Direct wanting anything to do with the nondescript packaging usually associated wi...

Virtual Vivid - Alternate packaging

Virtual Vivid, as most 3DO collectors know, was originally sold and/or given away in a generic jewel case sealed in cellophane. Apparently, it was also packaged in a sealed cardboard sleeve as pictured below. I got this a few months back and was surprised as I had never seen this title packaged in a...

grimm, I don't hate you. Far from it. I have replied to your pm, so you should understand that I don't disklike you.

I just don't agree with what you are saying because (a) I am not doing that which you take issue with, and (b) even if I was, there is nothing wrong with it.

My response was probably a little harsh, and so I will apologize for that. However, the underlying message carried by your posts comes through quite clearly. You disapprove of the way that I collect and feel the need to let me know it. Had you simply asked why I have so many duplicates and what I do...

Let's get something straight real quick. My collection is not stopping anyone from buying/building their own 3DO collection, as implied in your posts. If I multiplied my collection 10 fold, 3DO games would still be plentiful and available. I can get behind the museum idea, but you dont need 4+ dupli...

That's a fair price for Wolfenstein without its longbox, if it has the manual and the disk is in good condition.
Also, the fact that it ended at $25 may have to do with the auction ending late at night on a Friday.
