I also like the sense of openness in Po'ed ... it reminds me of Immercenary in that way. The large sprawling areas, in lieu of mostly tight hallways and such, really make it feel different from other fps. Heh, this makes me think of Slayer. That game really stands out from other first person dungeo...

Thanks so much for the suggestions, guys. Unfortunately, I tried applying two solid grey return address labels, completely covering the hole in the label, and still got the same result. It looks like I may have to look into getting my money back... :( Have you tried using different types of tape to...

One of my highlights this gen would be the Uncharted franchise on the PS3 really showcasing the improvement from the PS2 to the PS3. I also appreciated the fact that there was an Uncharted game available for the PS Vita at launch, which is a game that you could not expect to have saw on the PSP, whi...

I could never get into PO'ed. Maybe if the framerate was more consistent I would have enjoyed it more, but once I got into some really large rooms, I had to put the controller down. The game slows down to a crawl and it makes it really tough to play (while still actually enjoying it). Meh. Did they...

Resident Evil HD Chronicles Collection (PS3) Move Controls

I have just one question about the Resident Evil HD Chronicles before I make my purchase from the current Resident Evil themed PSN sale. As it is a lightgun game, can you play it with one Move controller or do you need a navigation controller/DualShock 3 sticks with it too to move your character? Ei...

I am really eagerly awaiting a price reduction for this on the European PlayStation Store, as it has really been well received and has got lots of great reviews and positive buzz. It has already been reduced in price for the American PlayStation Store a couple of times, but as the game only released...

First off im not a fan of FPS-shooters, even the old school ones. Secondly it has poor enemy design. Thirdly it has frame rate issues. I think most FPS games are poor, this is just more so than the modern crap like the CoD-series. In my opinion, Po'ed is one of the 3DO's best games, which says a lo...

I am pretty sure that you find it around the fourth level though, I think. I hope so! I'm on the 3rd level right now, and having a heck of a time finding my way out ... What did you think of Po'ed, Trev? It is personally one of my favourite 3DO games of all time! It is right up there with Killing T...

There probably isn't any way to get it working right without either running it on the OS it was intended, or loading up a virtual box. Windows '95 and '98 games run in Windows 7 is really hit or miss. Don't expect them to work, but it's really nice when they do (Addiction Pinball is one that runs p...

My example of frame rate issues would be leaving the pit lane in F1 2011 on PS3. Even though the pit lane speed limiter is on, it seems far slower than what a road car would feel like at its speed limit, but then when you get back out on track you can see an immediate increase in the speed of the fr...

There are quite a few sentimental 3DO games for me. In regards to single player there are: Blade Force, Captain Quazar, Demolition Man, Escape From Monster Manor, Killing Time, Need For Speed, Phoenix 3, Po'ed, Road Rash, Soccer Kid, Star Fighter and more for their replayability, graphical capabilit...

I had the same issue when I re-purchased Escape From Monster Manor as that was sealed too! I wanted to open it and play it again, but it was sealed, so I was questioning whether I should open it or leave it sealed, but then I remembered why I bought it...to play it! I also notice that over here in t...

I have Killing Time for PC, but I can't get it to run on my laptop, which has the Windows 7 operating system installed. Has anyone got any ideas to allow me to get it running without any funny colours or crashing on the Windows 7 operating system without me having to go back to Windows XP to play it...

Hi everyone. I am a huge 3DO fan and still actively look to expand my collection with enthusiasm. It was the first console that was bought for me, as I was far too young to have a job at the time upon its release. LOL! :D I remember seeing my dad playing a game on the Amiga when I was only two or th...
