The demand is clearly out there even for another cart release. I don't understand why they do not bother.. The Jaguar community is full of drama (some of the absolute worst I have ever seen), so there could very well be some 500 page long reason that none of us know about, ha. Probably too busy wit...

I used two of them every now and them for BattleSphere and AirCars (only had two copies each). I also used them with an NEC Multisync monitor during those sessions. Good times...

I really need to do a new count. I'd guess around 800. Once upon a time I had nearly 1,900, but that's when I realized that I might need to possibly thin the collection a bit.

I loved Final Fantasy until XI...all downhill from there I'm afraid. It barely resembles the games of old. If anyone is looking for an alternative, Lost Odyssey on the 360 gets my vote. It feels like Final Fantasy (which might have something to do with it being developed by Hinorobu Sakaguchi's Mist...

I was a big fan of Psychic Detective back in the day. There were a ton of alternate paths to take, many of them rather subtle, multiple endings and it didn't take forever to play through.

Definitely a top 100 game in my opinion. It was really the first "retro update" that took an older game and really brought it up-to-date properly, probably because Minter knows a thing or two about the era and used the Jaguar's strengths to his advantage (particularly the smooth-shaded polygons that...

Advent Rising

Advent Rising Trailer This was a fantastic game that was initially hyped, then largely maligned and left to die. What it really is is a great shooter with a great storyline, the occasional bug, Jedi-style force powers, slightly behind-the-times game engine and a control scheme that people didn't wa...

One of the best games on the system. For a shooter at the time, the amount of freedom when it comes to flight is unrivaled really. There are all kinds of different attack angles you can take, and the game had "terrain deformation" before it was a buzzterm for second-rate PS3 games from Lucasarts.

I remember taking a day off from college my freshman year ('95) and grabbing my student loan refund check, to the bank and then to the mall. Bought my Goldstar unit and a handful of games for $200.

They're definitely going up. I've been trying to get a decent replacement for my Goldstar unit that died some time ago, and I'm really surprised at how much some of them are going for.

1. Tempest 2000
2. Alien vs. Predator
3. Attack of the Mutant Penguins
4. Defender 2000
5. DOOM

Battle Sphere and Rayman would have made the list, but I sold them off some time ago (rare games are the first casualty of necessity).
