Re: Introduce yourself.
Hi, thanks for the add. Excited to be part of the dedicated 3DO forums. I recently became interested in the 3DO technology after reading about the 3DO Blaster. The more I looked into 3DO, the more obscure and alluring I found it. I managed to pick up an FZ-1 for a good price (£40) and promptly star...

Re: American Laser Games
Very cool info here, thanks for sharing. I didn't know that ALG had such a sad end, making games so different from the ones that made the company name so recognizable among us.

Out of this World: 3DO still got it
I just got the port of Another World Anniversary for Xbox One, I played it to the end, the game is beautiful by itself, with all that hi-res visual. But as soon as I finished I immediately fired up my FZ-10 with the same game, on a CRT TV. Man. The 3DO port is more fluid and still the most beautiful...

I can do that for you, but my copy is japanese (More beautiful than the horrible interplay version, BTW).
I'm in a work trip, will be back in a week or so. If you want it the japanese one, please let me know.

Awesome game, I'm a big fan. The colors and textures are better on the 3DO, on the Playstation they're appear a little washed out. I don't remember how many levels, but there's many and some of them are HUGE.

Completely. Except for some menus and dialogues, the rest of the game is the same.

Sorry to bump this up.
I was browsing the old topics, saw this and then showed to a friend who is enough into animes to know exactly were it came from:
Asobi ni Iku yo! By Okina Kamino, episode 4.

Re: They're back!
It was not their first choice. It would be Gex, but they had problems with the disc.
Not their best episode, however it does show how frustrating can be those laserdisc games.

Re: Unreleased games - Where are they?
Yes, it was. But originally was developed for 3DO. Gammadev said that he saw an "almost complete version" running at Insomniac, once.CasetheCorvetteman wrote:Disruptor was on PS1 wasnt it?

Unreleased games - Where are they?
It is not very hard to find lists with various games not released for the 3DO. And we heard that some of them were very close, with almost complete versions (Disruptor as Gammadev said in one of Ewhac videos), other even had release dates printed in magazines (Rockman X). The question is: Where are ...

Re: 3DO Halloween
The japanese AitD have text/dialogues in japanese, too. But to be frankly, I played that game so much that I barely need any of that right now. And the cover art blows the USA one to bits. By the way, all long boxes games from Interplay had the cover art mutilated.

Re: 3DO Halloween
The 3DO has a very nice horror/ghost/suspense-themed library, doesn't it? There are even some additional games along that theme, e.g. Hanako-San. I ought to have given one of these games a shot yesterday -- I've been meaning to play D. :( Yes, it does! And I have Hanako-San, forgot it to put it on ...

Re: 3DO FZ-1 with/without cooling fan?
Thanks Retrofanatic, I've found the thread http://www.3do.cdinteractive.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=222.
I have both models, the earlier and the later one, interesting enough, the mine that doesn't have the cooler fan is the earlier model (in the thread, they both have).
