Re: Need for Speed on 3DO destroys the other 32-bit versions
I just seen a new video on how badly I suck! Awesome!! Which video? I did all my times using my LiMO PRO scaler, which although pretty good and low on lag, i reckon i could do even better using the lag free XRGB-3. Using my Faroudja DCDi scaler it was damn near impossible to clock fast times. I rec...

Re: Beavis and Butthead - Arcade Game
You will likely need the arcade BIOS chip to add into the console for it to work, if you have a look in the tech section i did a thread about converting Japan region to US, that extra BIOS chip the Japan region uses was used for the extra arcade BIOS chip as well.

The hand wipes the blood away when you use the drill! Ahhh... Now it makes sense. Good to hear from you again, Fujisan! Sorry to hear POed didn't come out in Japan. But can't you play the North American version on your 3DO? The game has almost no text, and the 3DO isn't region locked. After conside...

Hello everyone Long time no see :D PO'ed was unfortunately not released on the Japanese market. However, that game is a trial version about the appendix of the magazine, I can play a little bit. I thought that envy, when everyone saw how happy talking about that game. :) Was the playstation version...

Just need to be careful where you save on later levels too, i manged to end up saved in a room with no exit, quite late in the game. Spent hours trying to get out, couldnt. Had to restart.

Pompous Tartar is about the same again, just a bit more difficult.
Not sure if there was another weapon hidden in Medium Rare, did you look down where you find the meat cleaver in Pompous?

Re: Is this the most active 3DO forum on the web?
I think the most logical solution is to try to get the Google spider un-banned. The CD-i forum has no issues with that as it comes up in a Google search, so I don't see why it can't be fixed for the 3DO side. I admire the passion some of you guys have with the want to make a new forum. However, I h...

30 levels if i remember right, i got stuck inside a wall on level 28 i think.
I have both PS1 and 3DO versions, 3DO is better from memory.
Controls on PS1 still require combos of buttons.

Frankly speaking, I see no great difference between the 3DO version and the others, except for the cleaner sound and sharper cinemas. Of course, the cover image is beautiful and be able to play in S-VHS at the time was something. S-VHS? That is a video tape format!! Im reasonably sure you m...

Re: 3DO emulator on Android
I can't stand playing games on Android I think the only game that really works with the touch screen is Angry Birds. There's no way I could enjoy controlling through an emulator when I have the real thing. Any American Laser Games light gun shooter would be fine played this way, touch to shoot woul...

I can't figure out how to select the X man's car. I used to be able to do it but I seem to have forgotten. I have the instructions but they tell me to use the Left Right shift buttons but all that does is change my car . Go to the picture of him, use L and R on that to change his car. The stopwatch...

Re: Is the Japanese version of the game D playable?...
Or just buy it on Playstation. How about the Saturn? Does that version still go for reasonable prices? I got my copy of it ages ago. It's worth mentioning that the Saturn and PlayStation versions contain a scene or two which does not appear in the 3DO version. Probably one of the few games that is ...

Re: 3DO and Gex sales
It was on Saturn and PS1 as well, so yeah, 1,000,000 copies across 3 consoles seems easy enough to believe. Only issue with this is that by July 1995, the PSX hadn't been released in North America yet, and thus Gex wasn't available on it (I don't think it came to Saturn until a little bit later eit...

It was on Saturn and PS1 as well, so yeah, 1,000,000 copies across 3 consoles seems easy enough to believe. While there may have been 750,000 consoles out in the consumer hands, no good reason not to make enough copies in one batch to cater for another 750,000 consoles that may sell the following ye...

Someone is selling a copy of Dinopark Tycoon here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-DinoPark-Tycoon-3DO-1994-Version-RARE-/262666011948?hash=item3d281d452c:g:1ioAAOSw8w1X-fOg It appears to be the game only with no box, and the asking price is $1100. Seems a bit steep for just the game but then again yo...

You need a US region 3DO to make it work, wont work on Japan or PAL console.

Re: How to get Return Fire Maps 'O Death to work?
Having last night played through both Return Fire and Map 'O Death, i can say that although the graphics look a bit nicer on the 3DO, and the game plays about the same for the most, the Playstation version is a bit better and seems to have a fair few more maps than both 3DO versions combined. The bi...

Typically the "asking price" is more, it's buyer's call if they pay that, i paid under $150 Australian Dollars for mine delivered, complete boxed and pretty much as new. That was not long ago either.

Neat. Seems like it would redundant though considering US 3DO consoles are fairly common. I wouldn't want to mess with something less common like the TRY. But, hey, at least we know it works now. They might be in America, but theyre not common anywhere else, the most common here in Australia are Eu...
