Yes. I actually went throught all the related posts, but did not find a solution.
I already tried Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden, which I thought were the best brands for blank media.

I just bought a Japanese FZ-1 on my trip to Japan last month. I bought a SSFIIx with the 3DO, which works fine. But I could not get my 3DO to read games on CD-R.
