If I remember correctly, the passwords are shown when you pause the game.

The only suggestion I have is to search for "3do -army -men" instead of browsing.

I'd definitely be interested in this - buying the part and fitting it myself. I'd prefer to do this to my FZ-10 though (in case we ever get that IDE mod, I'd have my FZ-10 modded, but keep my FZ-1 in it's original state). If it is just a chip swap, I'm guessing it would also work on the FZ-10?

Swapping out the video file from an existing disc is definitely worth a shot. I've never created a 3DO CD myself, only extracted files, so I'm not sure how simple (or difficult) it would be. I'm sure some of the guys on here with Dev Kit experience could advise, though. For the actual video encoding...

I'm 99% sure you'll need to write/build a disc containing 3DO code to play the video. Once you've created a Cinepak video file, you still need to get the 3DO to actually play it.

Maybe the FPS rather the length? If I remember correctly, an NTSC cartoon is/was typically 15fps, rather than 30fps for regular TV.

It's a long shot, but have you tried clearing some space in the NVRAM? I'm wondering if the game checks for free space, but won't boot if there isn't enough. That's purely a guess though.

Anyone else getting this problem? I'm only trying to run the FZ-10 BIOS and am getting poor performance. It's running 60fps about 80-90% time, but pauses for a second, continues at 60fps, pauses, continues etc etc. Dual-core 64bit CPU @2GHz, 2GB RAM, Win7 (64bit). Runs FreeDO OK (on selected games, ...

Works fine on Win7 64-bit now.

For me, download page counts down from 5 to 0, then switches to the second mirror, counts down, then switches back to the first mirror, counts down... and so on.

Anyone else getting this?

Well, I for one am extremely grateful of your efforts. I've been hoping for 3DO emulation to improve for years! While I still have my FZ-1, there's no room for it in my living room, so doesn't get used much these days.

It runs great on my dual core with 2gb ram

The speed is fine, but the sound is awful on my machine. Killing Time is pretty much unplayable. Any ideas on how to impove it?

Some of the stuff they proposed I disagreed with even, so... Would that be the "send me your money for this vapourware Xbox port/Dreamcast port/GP2X Port/add-your-own-fictional-crap-here..." farce? :lol: Like the Xbox would ever run FreeDO properly... It still runs like crap on a 64bit dual-core CP...
