Re: Review - The Eye of Typhoon

Since LRG is doing a 3DO print of this I was looking to read some more about it. Thanks for the review.

My 7 year ban has been lifted!

So, stumbling upon 3DO Kid's profile on Twitter has made me nostalgic. If anyone here was around in 2014 or earlier, the prodigal son has returned. What have I missed?

Great example - 3D Blast was far too long to have no save function!

What exactly were the issues with Club Drive? I've never noticed anything wrong with it, and my Jag is hooked up via the S-video cable.

While Ruiner is in no way an amazing pinball game, I don't think it's the trainwreck you have made it out to be Trev. I also think that the 16 bit systems would have had trouble pulling off much of what the game does very smoothly and without severe slow down issues. What? How dare you Jaguar troll...

As relatively popular as the 3DO was compared to say, the Jaguar you would figure there would be more aciton on this forum. We have ups and downs. Part of the lull in action at times stems from the fact that we don't have too many trolls & flame wars. 3DOKid & 3DOExp can sniff em out a mile away. :...

I wouldn't mind having one just for the sake to check it out. They used to be fairly cheap, but I don't know what they sell for now. As far as I know there are less than 5 actual games for it, the rest being edutainment type software. It has a funny old infomercial if you can find the full version o...

Sorry but I am genuine and it is a very old thread I understand. But as a 3do community I was hoping that someone in your fold might have some info on the whereabouts of this person? Re: 3DOish games

King's Field on PS1 has a definite 3DO vibe to it. It might be technically more accomplished than what would be possible on 3DO outright, but still, it has that feel to it: http://youtu.be/IWSBYUPWMk0?t=8m3s Reminds me of a slower version of DeathKeep, at least from the vid. I've never played it, i...

Re: Let's Play/Drown Out - Way of The Warrior, Samurai Shodo

Hmmm ... I've never heard the SEGA cd port described as 'near arcade perfection' - it's missing some effects, not to mention an entire character! I don't know enough about the behind the scenes of the 3DO port, but I'd certainly prefer it in terms of loading times when compared to the s-l-o-w Neo Ge...

There's a review I wrote which sums up my feelings pretty well. It's an old one (and not one of my best) so it's probably buried in the reviews section. But it's a bad port on multiple levels, especially the loading times.

Re: What's the cheapest interactive move FMV game on the 3DO

Mad Dog McCree can be had for $5-$10 sans box (the 3DO port is awful though)

Burning Soldier can be found for $5 or less complete, as is actually quite good imho - next to Starblade it might be my favorite 3DO shooter.
